In this session, participants will be immersed in an interactive workshop specifically designed to mirror the complexities and richness of a diverse classroom environment. The aim is to understand the challenges and benefits inherent in implementing inclusive teaching strategies for culturally diverse students. Central to this experience is an exploration of intercultural theories and/or frameworks to understand the impact of cultural backgrounds on behaviours within classroom settings. Participants will be engaged in a series of structured activities and dialogues, through which they will develop the skills necessary to craft lesson plans that address and honour diverse learning needs for students from various cultural backgrounds. The workshop will emphasize strategies to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere, one that not only acknowledges but celebrates the diversity of student experiences and perspectives.
