What is Trauma-Informed and why would you want to be trained in this practice? What if you could make a shift in your perspective that would help you in all the thousands of personal interactions you have every day? What if you could enter every moment with more understanding and empathy? Looking under the hood at what is behind all our actions opens the door to more meaningful relationships and stronger connections in every sphere of life. Trauma-Informed Training explores the way our brains perceive, process, and respond to stress of all kinds – from the seemingly insignificant to the profoundly overwhelming – and what this does to our bodies and behaviour. The goal of this session is to learn more about the full-day training and to leave with a practical strategy, or two, for creating supportive relationships and productive interactions at work, at home and in the community.
