Learning Connections Conference 2024

In this session, we invite you to discover Deaf culture and American Sign Language (ASL) in our communities. Bianca is a Graphic Design student on the Kingston campus and president of the SLC ASL student club. As a Deaf individual with cochlear implants, Bianca’s duality of walking between the hearing world and the Deaf world enables her to share a unique perspective on accessibility, language access, and identity. Leah spearheads SignAble Vi5ion Inc., where she transforms businesses with inclusive communication strategies. Offering personalized consultation, immersive training, and expert sign language instruction, she empowers organizations to cultivate genuine connections with their employees and clients. Leah's unwavering commitment to "Access for All, Everyone Wins" drives her mission to advocate for understanding and inclusivity at St. Lawrence College in every interaction.
